Simple, delicious trail mix with good-for-you ingredients.

When you have a tournament or a long day on the pickleball courts, you need long-lasting energy to sustain your stamina. We love a good trail mix, but couldn't find one anywhere that met all of our ingredient non-negotiables: low in sugar, no seed oils, legume free, dye and preservative free.


So of course we decided to make our own! It's so good and won't spike or crash your blood sugar like some commercial brands. Anything you can make yourself is almost always going to be better for you.

Easy Healthy Trail Mix


Ingredients

  • ½ cup shelled pumpkin seeds, raw or roasted in avocado oil (not in seed oils such as sunflower or soybean.)

  • ¼ cup shelled pistachio seeds, raw or roasted in avocado oil (no seed oils.)

  • ¼-½ cup Lily's no sugar added chocolate chips-flavor of choice.

  • 1 cup freeze-dried organic berries. We love the ones from Trader Joes.

    You can use any freeze dried berry, or ½ cup no sugar added or reduced sugar dried cranberries.


Directions

Just mix all together and store in an airtight container at room temperature.

You will eat it long before it goes stale!
